Bovada is ready to try its luck again offering poker in New York. The gambling brand announced this week that it is reopening its platform to players in New York State after blocking them for the past year. The site reportedly avoided New York due to the state’s strict anti-online gambling laws.
Online poker players in New York will once again have the option of logging into Bovada, but with the platform’s history, they may want to think twice. Bovada’s on-again-off-again relationship with the United States poker market does not exactly inspire confidence.
