For a girl who has a few milll in the bank youd think she would take better care of herself, spa treatment needed I think. Anyway I seen her commenting on a game a while back and she was getting it all wrong, think she will get eaten up..

Clony Gowen has won a few of those PAD tables. And i guess that Matusow, Hellmuth and Laak don't play their best poker in that format.

Laak don't play their best poker in that format did you mean any format And Hellmuth does not care as long as he is on TV with the spotlight on him. Did anyone notice how alike Hellmuth and Laak are....

Yeah, but they're entertaining tho, so I'd leave them off for their table antics.

Ok, both talk a lot at the table. But Laak isn't a cry baby or full of himself like Hellmuth.

She is a not very pretty girl playing pseudoaggrodonk poker, had sometimes luck, but no constant good pokerplayer. This kind of players are thousands around, and she had luck, 99,9 % of the others playing like her are paying, is like bingo or lotto...
Mast3rKush | 30/10/2009 21:29:38 GMT
^Actually if you've watched her play a couple of times you'll realize that she actually is a pretty solid player & when the luck is going her way she defintley captilizes & she has a couple of big tourney wins under her belt so i think she'll do good on poker after dark. We'll see though...

She's just another 'one hit wonder'...just like Robert Varkonyi and Chris Moneymaker. Anyone heard about them recently? Of course not. They got lucky, got their 15 minutes of fame, and then tossed in the dumpster where they belong.
Calmplay | 31/10/2009 10:11:16 GMT
Maybe we do not really hear a lot about her while she plays live tournaments... but I can guarantee you she's very solid while playing online, I watched some of her games at FTP and I was indeed impressed, with some luck she would have won much more money than she did so far in online poker.
kserks | 31/10/2009 12:14:03 GMT
Is compelled to disagree, therefore as saw live tournaments with its participation(WSOPE for example). She perfectly reads game and opponents.
ITB126 | 31/10/2009 19:16:59 GMT
I also do think that she is a player to watch in the next couple of years. She won the WSOPE Main Event and finished in the late money stages in a lot of other big life tournaments. You don´t get these results when youre just lucky. But it will be interesting to see her playing in the WSOP next year, the average of the players there is much stronger than in the EPT for example
psycokiller | 31/10/2009 21:05:25 GMT
Don't think she'll be the first one out, but she won't win either. 4th sounds about right. Matasow and Hellmuth are probably going to be exceptionally aggressive when in a hand involving her. 1st on out will be Esfandiari. He just doesn't seem at all intrested in the game anymore.
NANACONDA | 01/11/2009 00:26:07 GMT
I'd say that its going to be the other way around to be honest. She's more aggressive than any of them. She likes to '5-bet J 10 suited' so I can't really see her getting pushed around. 1st or last would be my guess.

lol, this chick is getting ripped apart by BRM members. I just returned from a trip to Vegas and ate at the steak house at the Golden Nugget, the food was really good but didn't see any famous poker pros at the casino.
